This female Cougar is depicted guarding the last remaining vestige of her once vast habitat, hence the title of the piece, "Last Stand." Sadly, this is a small drama that's playing out all too often.  I wanted her facial expression to be one of aggression, but also of wariness.

One more for the road.  Here she is in the back of the ol' pickup truck, on her way to parts unknown.  It's hoped that one day she'll be on her way to be cast in resin.  Maybe too, she can find her way to some small corner of
your world.
